Speaker Information

Sandra Alexander, MSc.

Sandra is the manager for the national Circular Clinical Care: Single-Use Plastics
Reduction project; a three-year initiative by the Canadian Coalition for Green
Health Care being undertaken with the financial support of Environment and
Climate Change Canada. She will discuss the prevalence of plastic use in
healthcare and share the work currently being done through the project to reduce
plastic waste. With a MSc. in Global Health from McMaster University and years
of experience leading interdisciplinary teams to implement sustainable changes,
she is building a network of teams across Canada to promote a healthier future for
people and the planet.
