Change lives and work at the top of your licence every day.

Work at the top of your licence — join one of the most advanced pharmacy practices in Canada. Howe Sound Pharmacy has made the change to the pharmacist-on- intake operating model, where Pharmacists sit down with patients at intake to receive prescriptions and identify Drug Therapy Problems. This advanced practice often identifies errors and indicates change to 50% or more of incoming prescriptions and depends on skilled technicians who want to work up to their full scope of practice as part a collaborative pharmacy team and take responsibility for the majority of prescription accuracy checking. We offer competitive compensation packages and a career-long commitment to the very best professional development.

Requirements: Licensed by the College of Pharmacists of BC and insured to be a registered technician (RPhT). This is a leadership role on the dispensary team. You have exceptional accuracy in checking prescriptions, advanced computer skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, ability to work in a fast paced, collegial environment, handle confidential matters with discretion and you have inventory control experience. Human resources skills and experience with WinRx would also be assets. Most of all, this important role requires a deep commitment to the highest standards of patient care.
